Chloe and Tombo… Behind the Scenes of a Bigger Amigurumi
Making some last minute changes, checking the foundation rows again and trying to make sure everything makes sense before putting it into a proper pattern. When a design is bigger than usual, every small adjustment takes longer and every detail needs an extra bit of attention. That’s exactly what is happening with Chloe and Tombo.
This stage is the part people rarely see… the repetition, the frogging, the re-doing, and the tiny tweaks that eventually shape the final version. It’s not the fun part, but it’s the one that makes the pattern better and easier to follow later on. I want you to be able to enjoy the process when you make them, so I’m doing all the messy trial and error now.
While working through these adjustments, I actually ended up with an idea that I might add if I can make it work. It wasn’t planned, but sometimes the best details appear when you least expect them… let’s see if this one behaves.
