Star Wars Day… working on a new tribute character

Yesterday I started my Star Wars movie marathon while working on my next Star Wars tribute character. You can see a little preview in the next image. I had so much fun creating him because I really wanted to challenge myself… I tried to design the gun belt in just one piece, without cutting and reattaching yarn, and I actually succeeded. The only cut you need to make is at the very beginning for the colour change. I am honestly so happy with how it turned out.
Now the plan is to finish the other pattern that is almost ready. I will be contacting testers for the monkey pattern next week, and after that I will be working at full speed to finish this surprise character… although I think everyone already knows who he is, right?
